We’ll ask you to make a security deposit of $6000 AUD which is to be paid upon arrival, by Credit Card.
Bonds can be paid by VISA, Mastercard or American Express. There are no Credit Card fees with payments made by VISA and MasterCcard however a 2% non refundable fee on Bonds paid made via American Express.
As long as the 4WD is returned in the same condition, this amount will be fully refunded. We will inspect the car the moment you return safely to WA EXPERTS.
Absolutely. At WA Experts, we believe the spirit of adventure should be open to everyone. While our 4WD campers are built for rugged terrain, we’ve made sure they’re also easy to use for a wide range of travellers.

Everything you need to go off-grid in comfort. Each WA Experts 4WD camper comes fully loaded with bedding, camp chairs, tables, and kitchen utensils, plus more. We don’t believe in charging extra for the basics. It’s all included, ready for the bush from day one. See the complete list of inclusions.
Yes, that’s the whole point. Our vehicles are purpose-built for WA’s rugged terrain. Want to explore the Gibb River Road, Francois Peron, or Karijini’s back tracks? You’re good to go—as long as you follow our off-road conditions and safety advice.
If you’re heading somewhere particularly remote, just let us know. We’ll help you plan and ensure you’ve got the right gear and permits.
No special licence needed. A standard full driver’s licence (in English or with an International Driving Permit) is all you need. You’ll need to be over 21 years old with at least 12 months’ driving experience.
They’re big, but easy to handle. Most of our fleet are automatics with excellent visibility and clearance. You’ll get a full walkthrough before you hit the road, including how to set up the gear, rooftop tent (if applicable), and 4WD modes.
We’ve got your back. Every hire includes 24/7 roadside assistance across WA. We’ll also give you a thorough handover, including a quick training session and our “how-to” videos you can watch any time. Our goal? No surprises—just smooth exploring.
Absolutely. Whether it’s your first trip to WA or your first time behind the wheel of a 4WD, we’ll walk you through everything—from tyre pressure tips to which tracks suit your route. Our handovers are thorough, and we’re always a phone call away.
