This was our third time renting with you — and once again, everything was absolutely perfect.
Your vehicles are really thoughtfully designed to meet every need of an outback adventure. This definitely contributes to the magic of the journey. We drove along rugged red tracks, crossed remote river crossings, and camped in the most breathtaking natural spots — from Darwin to Broome, through Kakadu, the Central Arnhem Way, and the legendary Gibb River Road. We’re completely enchanted by this way of travelling — it’s hard to imagine exploring Australia (or anywhere else!) in any other way now. The bar has been set incredibly high. Oh, and by the way — I definitely made the most of the sun deck! 😉

We rented the Hawk for three weeks for our road trip from Broome to Perth and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The vehicle was superb. Well-maintained, reliable, and perfectly suited to our adventure, including some challenging stretches where having a proper 4WD was essential. The pick-up in Broome was quick and seamless, and the guy gave us a thorough and helpful introduction to the vehicle, making sure we understood everything before setting off. Returning the car in Perth was just as easy and hassle-free. Excellent vehicle, outstanding service, and an all-round great experience. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended and definitely a 5-star experience!

Hired a 4WD Hilux with a Hawk camper set up on the tray from the Darwin depot. Hired for 2 weeks and had no issues, however there was 24 hour support available if we needed it! We had an excellent time and were able to access remote campsites using the vehicle which was relatively new and in excellent condition. The vehicle came fitted out with everything we needed for camping in the bush. Jordan who set us up and ran us through the features of the car at pick up was very thorough and left us with confidence on anything we needed to know about the ute!

The team were exceptional, from pick up to drop off everything and everyone were professional, thorough and friendly. Gave us so much confidence to head up to Karijini, Exmouth and Coral Bay knowing what we knew. We'd never done a trip .like this and man I recommend doing it so much fun!

Absolutely incredible experience with WA Experts! We hired the Hilux for our first trip up north and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better setup. The car was incredible and had everything we needed for the trip. The team at WA Experts were so thorough when handing the vehicle over, taking the time to run us through everything and making sure we knew exactly what we were doing before we left. Being our first big trip up north, that made such a difference — we felt completely confident and comfortable on the road. We rented the Dove for 109 days. We drove 18000+ km on the most corrugated roads we were allowed. The Dove was used when we got it, but well maintained. On a trip like that, you’d expect issues and we did have issues. The issues was not the problem, it was how it was handled and WAExperts (Brandon) gets 5*+ for that, whenever aa issue happened he replied instantly wia WhatsAPP and we always found good solutions. We can really recommend WAExperts, we had an adventure of a lifetime, thank you Brandon.

Hired the 76s LC 4WD from these guys for a 10-day trip and it was awesome! They sorted us out with everything we needed, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Everyone was super friendly and easy to deal with too. Bit worried about driving something bigger since we're used to a little hatchback in the city, but it drove really smoothly, no dramas at all. Would definitely hire from them again!

Very capable campervan for our Gibb River Road & Kakadu adventures. Very well equipped, eg toolkit, CB radio, quality air compressor. Ideal for off-grid use with ample water, battery & gas capacity. Managed river crossings with ease. Some suggestions: Itemised list of all contents and instructions for equipment eg rear view camera and sat nav. Recommended tyre pressures for on and off road. Better fridge fitting-so it does not fall out! Better window sealing from dust. Provision of grey water hose.

Vehicle was clean and very well appointed with all necessary equipment for camping. The Initial briefing was comprehensive and easy to understand. Service staff at Broome were responsive, knowledgeable and friendly.

We were lucky enough to get an almost brand new vehicle on only its second trip, and it didn't miss a beat. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and genuinely wanted us to have an amazing trip. Pickup was straightforward, everything was well explained, and the vehicle was set up with absolutely everything we needed—including a camp chair for our little one, which was such a thoughtful touch! When you're travelling with kids in remote areas, having a reliable vehicle and quality camping gear makes all the difference. We never had a single issue, so we could just relax and enjoy the experience. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend WA Experts to anyone planning a 4WD camping adventure. We had a super time with our Wedgetail Hawk camper exploring between Broome and Darwin for three weeks. It was so well decked out, with eye for detail, had a comfortable spacious bed and was easy and quick to set-up and pack-up. Brendan and Tracey were quick to respond and helpful and so was the team at the pick-up and drop-off. We highly recommend this company and are looking forward to doing another trip.

Absolutely loved our camper 4x4 hawk. So easy to set up and you don’t have to climb up to roof height….. very handy when you are descending in the dark! Camper had everything we needed as tourists from NZ. We headed through the Gibb River Road, Bungle Bungles and through the Northern Territory over a 3 week period. Great crew at Broome and Darwin. Rebina took us right through the entire vehicle, showing us how all the systems worked, where all the equipment was stored, how to operate everything. We left Perth feeling very confident about the camper. The vehicle itself was presented beautifully, well equipped, well laid out and had everything we needed for our month-long trip through the Kimberly region to Darwin. The Toyota Hilux was dependable and had plenty of ground clearance for the river crossings on Gibb River Road. We went with the Toyota Hilux dual cab with 2 rooftop tents (3 adults). What a car 😍! Probably should have rented it longer! The car even attracted attention from many Aussies (and we all know how equipped they are when it comes to camping)! The automatic tent (with light and fan included) was so easy to set up and every tiny space in this 4x4 was used efficiently. And it drives like a pro! We hired the car from Broome. A friendly gentleman gave us a thorough tour at the start and some expert advice for the drive ahead. Communication ran so smoothly. Would definitely recommend these guys! They know what they're doing! Can we go again??? 😍

My husband and I picked up the car in Broome and drove to Darwin. We had a Land Cruiser with a rooftop tent, and it was awesome. The car performed really well, even on some of the most demanding roads. We drove through mud, water, and sand, and tackled all types of unsealed roads without any issues at all. It had everything we needed to be self-sufficient. The tent was quite spacious and very quick to set up, as it was electrically operated. The staff were super friendly at both the pickup and drop-off locations. The bond refund was processed promptly and returned about a week after we returned the car. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic. We had a very positive experience renting a double rooftop tent vehicle from WA Experts. The vehicle was in great shape, and the setup was smart, practical, and well thought out. We also got a thorough introduction to the vehicle when we picked it up. They clearly pay attention to the small details, including gas for the cooker, headlamps, fly nets, and other useful gear, which made the trip much easier. WA Experts were a pleasure to deal with. From booking to correspondence to vehicle inclusions the whole process was professional and helpful. We hired the Suncamper for three weeks on what was its maiden trip. It had everything you could possibly need. Recovery gear, two way radio, GPS, butane stove for outdoor cooking, comfy beds, long range fuel tanks and more. We didn't need to plug into power once due to an efficient solar setup. On board shower and toilet was handy. Overall a well equipped easy to drive 4WD camper that you could take anywhere.

We recently hired the 76 Series Land Cruiser and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Tracey was amazing ! she professionally walked us through the vehicle and explained everything so thoroughly before we left, which made us feel really confident and prepared for the trip. The Land Cruiser was in fantastic condition and perfect for exploring the WA coastline. We absolutely loved travelling through Western Australia in it and had the best adventure. We hired a Landcruiser 79 and a Hilux (complete with twin rooftop tents) for a three-week run down the WA South Coast. Having rented from a bunch of different places before, we can officially say: these guys are on another level. Everything was spot on—the vehicle, the gear, the fridge, even the kitchen setup and tools. We ended up changing our booking a few times, but Tracey was a legend and handled the updates right away. Picking up and dropping off the vehicles was a total breeze, too. Zero issues, zero stress. We got to spend 100% of our time actually enjoying the holiday. Couldn't recommend them enough!

There was no better way to celebrate turning 50 than to do a 13 day 4WD off grid trip up the beautiful Ningaloo Coast with your bestie - girls on tour! The handover of the vehicle was comprehensive. The vehicle was incredibly well equipped, they have thought of everything, including the kitchen sink. We even found cable ties amongst the tools when a temporary measure to a predicament was required. The deflate/inflate process going on and off the tar was so simple and we never misplaced any of the tyre caps! yay us! 🙌. Brendan was on hand at all times when we encountered a few “bumps” in the road and was calm and reassuring. This was one reason we were able to feel confident in the great outdoors and were able to be calm, relaxed and enjoy the many simple pleasures touring this part of the world brings. We had an incredible time, an adventure we will talk and laugh about for many years to come. You'll get a rugged 4x4 camper van which you may use offroad (km unlimited) and which is cleverly built for all camping purposes. WA experts equipps its campers with everything you need and more - to start with a very robust and easy to use roof top tent (in our case, they also have tray-ons and others), awning, shower, camping table, chairs, cooking equipment, tire in-/deflater, emergency beacon, VHF radio, etc. (Optional: porta potti if you need to be self-contained). Hired a Hawk dual cab for 3w trip to Cape Arid and the South coast. The "Wedgetail" sleeping set up was brilliant. Loads of room. Superbly equipped van- everything imaginable for some off grid time. Big fridge, loads of water, all the camping gear, tyre kit etc. Really friendly welcome and thorough run through on collection. Hugely recommend.

Hired a Hilux for Mum, Dad and 3 teenagers 13, 16, 18. Two roof top tents and a swag. We rented a the 2 roof top hilux for two weeks and it was honestly one of the best experiences ever! The car was perfect for exploring and let us get to some amazing spots we never would’ve seen otherwise. It took us to Karijini, up and down the west coast. It was more expensive compared to other sites, but totally worth, these guys look after their cars and really run you through every detail to ensure you are comfortable.
